How it runs

Three stages. The window below is the mission’s own processing time, counted from the day we lodge your file. The time you spend collecting documents comes before it.

    The day you lodge

    We check the file, then lodge it

    You send the documents, we check each one against the current specification, and we lodge the application. The mission may ask you to attend in person for an interview or fingerprints, and if it does we tell you the appointment and what to bring.

    Your documents are used for the application and nothing else.

    While the mission has it

    The mission processes the application

    We track the application and tell you when its status changes. If the mission asks for more, we pass the request on the same day.

    When the result arrives

    You collect the result

    Collect it at our office, or we send it by tracked courier. We check the dates and conditions printed on the visa before it reaches you.

    If the visa is refused, we go through the stated reasons with you and set out your options.

Timings assume a complete file and a mission working to its published window. If either changes, we tell you.

No. The China mission decides. We make sure your application is complete, correct and lodged for the right visa.
Is the price on this page the final price?
It is the price for a straightforward application, with the government fee included. Third party costs, such as a translation or a courier, are extra and named in your quote before anything is lodged.
How accurate is the processing window?
It is the mission’s own published window, counted from the day the file is lodged. It runs longer in peak season and around public holidays in China. If we see it moving, we tell you.
Can you handle several people at once?
Yes. We handle family and company groups through one contact, keep the files together and flag anything that differs between applicants.
What happens if the application is refused?
We go through the stated reasons with you and tell you whether reapplying makes sense. The government fee and the processing partner’s fee have been paid, and we attach proof of them. The Visara service fee is refunded on the refusal conditions in our terms.
Do I have to use an agent for this?
No. You can apply directly. People pay us to confirm the visa, check the documents before lodging and track the file. If your case is simple enough to do alone, we tell you.
