Who this is for
D2 and D12 are multiple entry with 60 days per visit, valid for one year or two. They pay off if you come back often enough.
A regular commercial relationship
Suppliers, clients or a joint venture you visit several times a year. At about three trips a year, one multiple entry visa usually costs less than three single entry ones.
Work in progress on the ground
A survey, a feasibility study or a business you are setting up. D12 covers the pre-investment stage; D2 is the general business visit.
Dates that keep moving
You know you are coming back but not when. With a single entry visa per trip, every trip carries its own processing risk.
Choosing one year or two
Only the price differs between the terms. If the work runs past a year, compare the two year price with buying one year twice.

Initial assessment
Send your nationality, what you will do in Indonesia and your dates. We reply with the visa that fits. If the case is outside what we handle, the reply says so. The first assessment is free.

Scope and price in writing
Before you pay, you get the document list, the price for your term, a timing estimate with its assumptions, and what we will not do.

Document check
We check each document against the current requirement for your visa. You get a list of anything to fix, and you fix it before we lodge.

Lodging and follow up
We lodge the application and track it. If immigration asks for more, we send you the request and what to do about it. Extensions and renewals go through the same contact.
What you will usually need
A multiple entry file covers a working relationship, not one trip, so it asks for evidence that the relationship exists.

- Recent photograph to the current specification
- Your job title and employer details
The Indonesian side
- Invitation or sponsorship from the Indonesian company
- Company registration of the inviting company
- A description of the activities across the whole period, not only the first visit
Supporting
- Proof of funds for the visits you expect to make
- Evidence of the business relationship, such as contracts or correspondence
The activity description has to cover a year, not a week, so it carries more weight than on a single entry file.
Timing
The file usually waits on the invitation from the Indonesian company, not on the application.
Estimates assume a complete file. You wait for processing once, not once per trip.

- What is the difference between D2 and D12?
- What you will do. D2 is the general business visit; D12 covers pre-investment work such as field surveys and feasibility studies. Both are multiple entry with 60 days per visit.
- Is 60 days per visit or in total?
- Per visit. The visa is valid for one or two years, and each entry allows up to 60 days.
- How many trips make this worth it?
- Compare the price of your term with the cost of a single entry visa for each trip you expect. Send us your trip count and we do the sum with the current prices.
- Can I work on a multiple entry business visa?
- No. These are visit visas. They do not permit employment or income from a source in Indonesia. If the trips are for that, you need a work visa.
- What happens when it expires?
- Both are extendable. At the start we tell you whether extending or applying again costs less for your case, and we start before the expiry date.
