A KITAS is not a visa.
The visa gets you in. The KITAS is the stay permit issued after it, and the sponsor files separately with the Ministry of Manpower. We track all three.
Who this is for
The employee and the sponsoring company each have filings of their own. We work with both.
Employees relocating
An offer or assignment in Indonesia. Visa, stay permit and company filings go in order.
Companies hiring foreign staff
You file with the Ministry of Manpower before the visa. We work with your HR in English or Indonesian.
Renewals and changes
A renewal, or a new employer, role or location. Timing matters more than on a first application.
Remote and independent workers
Here while earning from abroad. It depends on your arrangement, and a visit visa may not cover it.
What we do, and what we do not.
Both lists go into your written scope, word for word.
What we do
- Name the visa that matches your activity
- Check your documents against the current rules
- Prepare and lodge the application
- Track it and tell you when its status changes
- Handle extensions and renewals for visas we lodge
- Work in English, Bahasa Indonesia or Chinese
- Refund our service fee if an application we filed is refused
What we do not do
- Guarantee an outcome. Immigration decides
- Give legal advice. If you need a lawyer, we say so
- Act as a government agency. You can apply directly through official channels
- Issue documents we are not authorised to issue
- Advise on tax residency or company accounting
The steps, in the order they have to happen.
Work cases fail when steps run out of order. This is the order.
- 01
Assess both sides
The role, your nationality and the company’s registration. If the company needs work first, we say so here.
- 02
Company filings first
The employer files the foreign worker plan with the Ministry of Manpower. Usually the longest step.
- 03
Visa, then stay permit
We lodge the work visa, then settle the stay permit after you arrive. One contact for both.
- 04
Renewal planned in advance
The renewal date is set at the start, and we tell you both when the window opens.
What you will usually need
One set from the employee, one from the sponsoring company. We check both before we lodge.
Employee
- Passport with enough remaining validity
- Recent photograph to the current specification
- Qualifications and experience relevant to the role
- Curriculum vitae in the required form
Employer
- Company registration and licence documents
- Job description and position details
- Confirmation of the sponsorship
Supporting
- Sworn translations where documents are not in Indonesian
- Legalisation where the issuing country requires it
Certificates held abroad often cause delays. Tell us early and we start on them first.
Timing
The employer’s filings usually set the pace. Plan back from when the company is ready.
If a start date is already promised, tell us at the beginning and we tell you whether it works.
Work and KITAS questions
- Can I arrange this without a sponsoring company?
- No. Every work visa needs an Indonesian sponsor, and without one we cannot take the case.
- Can my family come with me?
- Yes, on their own family visas, usually after your permit is granted. The family page has the codes.
- What happens if I change employer?
- A new employer, role or location changes the permit, and not automatically. Tell us before it happens.
- What is KITAP and when does it matter?
- The permanent stay permit, open after a qualifying period on a KITAS. If you plan to stay long term, it shapes the first permit.
Tell us what you are coming here to do.
Send your nationality, plan and dates. We reply with the visa, its price and its documents.
